Former PDP chairman, Senator Barnabas Gemade decamps to APC

Senator Barnabas Gemade of the Social Democratic Birthday party, SDP, has once more decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Gemade, who was once the candidate of the SDP within the final common election has dumped the celebration in a low key rite on the weekend in his village, Gemade Village, Mbajov, Mbawar Council Ward of Konshisha Native Executive House of Benue State.

Gemade, a former Nationwide Chairman of the principle opposition Peoples Democratic Birthday party, PDP, dumped the APC for the SDP in a while prior to the 2019 common election.

He contested for the Benue North-East senatorial district however misplaced to the incumbent Senator Gabriel Suswam.

Talking on the rite, the previous lawmaker mentioned he “returned to APC after a due consultations with the management of the celebration on the nationwide, state, native and ward ranges.”

Whilst receiving him, Benue State Chairman of the celebration, Comrade Abba Yaro, expressed pleasure over his go back

Talking additional, Yaro mentioned that Gemade as an asset to the celebration.
